If you want to know something, the most frequently asked questions will be on here. If you miss anything, please don't doubt to ask us and just contact the club.

What is United Art anyway?
United Art, shortly U-Art or UA, is a club for every kind of art. Our main goal is to get people to know and respect every way of expressing yourself. So be tolerant. We also started this club to get more attention for the members. And also to get more communication between artists of different styles.

Is this the right club for me? And if so, how do I become a member?
Oh, that's quite simple. Just read the following:

This is a club that appreciates all artist and all art styles. We neither discriminate, or judge your choice in art. If you tolerate various art styles and people, then this is the club for you. Those who want to join can send us a note answering the following questions. Remember to make the subject "Join"! That way it's clear to me what the note is about.

- What is your name?
- How old are you?
- What type of art do you produce? (for the memberlist)
- What are your interests? (for contest purposes)
- Why would you like to join this club?
- List three words that describe you best.

Also very important, don't forget: WATCH US! So you'll be keeping in touch with us. Also; be patient, we will add you as soon as possible.

Are there rules?
Yup. We would prefer to let us all soar freely without a care in the world, because as artists, we aren't exactly fans of authority. But there are a few rules I would like to inform you of, just so we all get along.

- PLEASE REFRAIN FROM INSULTING ARTISTS, OR THEIR WORK.
This is the most important rule. Please be kind when commenting on an advanced critique, our goal is to share our art with others in hopes of improving our technique, or influencing others to create new work.

- NO BLATANT PORNOGRAPHY.
I accept all forms of art, but please keep it tasteful. Blatant pornography will not be accepted. This does not mean I won't accept artistic nude, the key word being artistic. The human body can be used to help artists create, but pornography is offensive, and will not be tolerated.

- PARTICIPATE AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD.
I strive to please the majority of the members, so please send your suggestions to us and I will do what I can to satisfy you. By participating in contests, you not only help improve the club for others, but you also have an opportunity to meet and interact with new people.

What will be my main goal as a member?
This club is all about communication and attention. So, once a week you have the oppurtunity to add a deviation (which will be explained further in the next question). And I do mean one. That's because I want you to choose your best work and add that to our club. And don't worry, people will be directed to your gallery and you will get all the credit. Since we're artists too, we understand you. As much as you want respect, we want it too. Further, you like to get attention, the comments and the possible favs. So understand that other people love that too. What to do then? Simple; just comment on other people's stuff and BE NICE! Please, if you have critique, explain them why. And respect everybody! TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. And that will be our motto.

How do I submit art?
Well, first there are some rules about submitting. You can only submit one piece a week meaning per 7 days. You can choose what day you want to submit a piece and I will post the submissions I get as soon as I can. If you want to submit something, send us a note with the title "Submission". Make sure the note contains a link to your piece and a title. We will upload your piece as soon as possible. Please be patient, I am only human too.

Are there other events I can be part of?
I have a lot in mind!

- CONTESTS
Contests will be held regularly and are open to all members of the club. The prizes will be decided for each contest. We hope everyone participates; the more entries we get, the more contests we will have. After all, there's no point in holding contests if nobody joins, right?

- FEATURED ARTIST (soon to come, I hope)
Every week, I will choose a featured artist; someone whose skill, kindness, progress, or any other commendable trait exceeds the ordinary.

- MEMBER OF THE MONTH (soon to come, I hope)
At the end of the month, club members will be able to choose from the four featured artists and select a member of the month. We will give the other members detailed information on both the artist, and the art he or she creates. Because we all love being under the spotlight, after all we are human.

What if anything goes wrong? Or if I don't understand a thing?
Don't worry. I am right here to help you out and also the other members are more than willing to lend a helping hand. Don't doubt to send the club a note, or simply ask you neighbours in the club. Please, explain what's wrong or what you don't get CLEARLY. That works much faster for the both of us.

Final note!
We hope you enjoy the club as much as you enjoy the tickle of inspiration. And remember, we are not just a club, but a community! So treat others fairly and they will do the same.
